Watford 0-0 Sheffield United: Quality lacking as Hornets remain winless

November 20, 2019 in Uncategorized

Watford vs Sheff Utd
Premier League
3:00pm Saturday 5th October

Vicarage Road

Watford remain butt and without a win in the Premier League this year following a turgid 0-0 draw.
Despite having just 39 per cent of the ball and registering two shots on target, Watford did create the big opportunities in the match but Andre Gray, Danny Welbeck and Craig Dawson were refused since Blades goalkeeper Dean Henderson redeemed himself following last weekends error against Liverpool.
The one positive Quique Sanchez Flores will take will be seeing that his team keep a clean sheet for the first time in 19 matches but having a bit more attention in the final third Sheffield United may have left with the points in a game they bossed for big pieces. To get Chris Wilders guys, it renders them this year.
More to follow...
While Sheffield United are at front of the Monday Night Football cameras in two weeks time for their second fixture when they sponsor Arsenal in Bramall Lane watford are following in activity after the global break with a visit to Tottenham.

Packers vs Bears Opening Odds: Free NFL Betting Picks

November 20, 2019 in Uncategorized

The Chicago Bears opened as 4-point home faves on the NFL chances board for Thursday's season opener against the Green Bay Packers -- but should they pay?
Is it football season ? Excellent. We are looking forward to the next year of NFL picks here at the home office; let us jump in straight away with Thursday's season opener (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC) involving the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears.

We are going to concentrate especially on the launching NFL chances for this particular matchup, and explain to you just how you can have the betting value from these lines As this is our first match of this 2019 regular season. First and foremost, you will need to understand what's happening when you place a bet. This is even more significant, although Understanding a thing or two about football is great.
In theory, betting on the NFL is a competition between you and the rest of the bettors on the marketplace -- it is not you versus the sportsbooks. They will place the opening outlines, expecting to create action on both groups; this way, the books can pay out the stakes with the money collected from the bettors, and keep the vigorish on their own.

What's vigorish, you ask? See that you're betting $110 to win $100 on point spreads. So it's not quite an even-money yield. The books bill the vigorish (aka vig, aka juice) because of commission for managing all those transactions. That's their job and that is how they get compensated for the support they provide.
In concept. An increasing number of books these days are deciding to risk exposure (i.e. not having the ability to cover all of the winning bets prior to running out of money) by adopting the so-called European procedure, in which they gamble by sealing the odds towards the"square" side to get more of their action, and limiting or totally shutting out proven"sharp" bettors by the marketplace.

This is one of several reasons why you need to open accounts at many of the locations. The old-school reason is to get the best price you can on the market; a few books will provide you a bargain on vigorish to draw your business, while some will rush to be first on the odds board and may specify a soft line in the process which you can exploit.
Now, onto the game of Thursday. The Bears opened way back in April since 4-point home faves using a total of 46; at the time, Chicago are laying 3.5 points with the total rising to 46.5. The consensus accounts at SBR show 56 percent of bettors on Green Bay, providing 64% of the amount wagered; this is apparently why the books have transferred the Bears from --4 --3.5.

This is a fantastic thing for bettors. The more line movement there is, the more likely you'll come across a line which you are able to exploit. The best times to buy are instantly following the market starts, and just before kick-off following a major lineup; in this instance, there are a good deal of question marks surrounding the offense for both groups, so we're more inclined to recommend the"under" now that the complete has awakened slightly.

They may not get them Thursday night, so consider waiting until closer to game time to see whether the total climbs higher, and can the prolate spheroid function with you.
Free NFL Pick: Under 461/2 (--105) in 5Dimes

Paul Pogba: Sergio Ramos says door is open at Real Madrid

November 20, 2019 in Uncategorized

Sergio Ramos has lauded Paul Pogba as"one of the amazing gamers" and is optimistic the Manchester United midfielder will join him at Real Madrid later on.
His agent, Mino Raiola and pogba, both said United refused to sell the France worldwide, although he wished to leave Old Trafford for a fresh challenge.
United turned down a deal from Real of #27.6m and James Rodriguez for Pogba, that returned into the Premier League club in Juventus for #89m at 2016.
"I believe Real Madrid consistently has the door open for good players such as Madrid," Ramos told the Daily Express.
Madrid spent over #270m this summer - that the largest outlay with a club - as head coach Zinedine Zidane brought Ferland Mendy amongst many others, in Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Eder Militao, Rodrygo.
Pogba has played all four of United's Premier League games this season and captain Ramos considers the 26-year-old would bring equilibrium to any side.
"For me personally, Pogba is one of the terrific players," Ramos said.
"He's different and he's shown his worth at Juventus and now Manchester United.
"I believe that he brings balance to a team. He's got a wonderful offensive influence and he has this wonderful physique."

Bulls vs. Lakers Point Spread: NBA Odds, Prediction

November 20, 2019 in Uncategorized

NBA Point Spread and Betting Analysis

Almost all of the stats are ugly to the Bulls. They have lost eight straight and they are 5-16 straight up on the road. Chicago is 3-7 against the spread (ATS) in their last 10 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game and 3-11-1 ATS in the last 15 against teams from the NBA Pacific Division. The Bulls are 1-4 ATS in their last five matches against the Western Conference.
The Lakers have been 14-9 up in your home but have coated in just nine of these matches. They're 4-10 ATS in non-conference games and 7-16 ATS when facing a team with a losing record. That is ugly.
Chicago Bulls
The Bulls have dropped all their last seven, giving up at least 117 points in four of those games. This group has a listless defence which cannot stop anybody. Although they let 111.0 points per game on the season (17th), they have allowed an average of 126.7 in their past three. This includes a beat down at the hands of this Golden State Warriors, who also scored 146 points against this team.
The Bulls have appeared utterly lost since coach Jim Boylen took on the team from recently fired head coach Fred Hoiberg. The players do not like his style and also have had run-ins with him. Oddly enough, though the front office just gave Boylen an expansion and a rise. The team is merely 5-14 beneath Boylen.
Los Angeles Lakers
The Lakers are without LeBron James right now but they can not pin all of their problems on his absence. They had been 17-10 at one stage this year and are just 6-13 since. He has been out since Christmas Day but the Lakers fall started while he was there. This team has dropped five of their past seven and seven of 10.
The Lakers offence has completely disappeared without James in the lineup since they're averaging just 107.3 points per game over their last 15 contests (23rd at the NBA). That's a huge dip from the 121.0 they averaged in October (third in the NBA).
The issue is that this is a really disjointed roster and players aren't developing. Kyle Kuzma is playing good but Lonzo Ball is donating only 9.4 points per game while shooting 36.2percent from the field this month. JaVale McGee averaged 15.5 points a game in October but is down to only 8.4 in January. And Brandon Ingram remains somewhat inconsistent as he has scored 17 or more four times this month but scored 15 or less at the other three games. Add in that Josh Hart has only 17 points in total in the previous three games and lots of the fingers start pointing towards Walton that he can't create the young players on this roster. The good news is that the Bulls are a bigger mess and the Lakers must look after company in this area.

Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt hoping Bundee Aki escapes ban after red card

November 20, 2019 in Uncategorized

Joe Schmidt says hed bepretty disappointed when Bundee Akis red card from Samoa principles him from the rest of the World Cup.
Ireland thumped Samoa 47-5 at Fukuoka but Aki was sent to get a tackle on UJ Seuteni and may now obtain a suspension to end his championship.
Akis parents are Samoan and that he wasdevastated by his own red card, based on Ireland head coach Schmidt.
Samoa manager Steve Jackson vowed to make all of representations required to help Aki prevent a ban, and so the card should prove punishment.
Aki returned into the pitch mingling in the Samoa line-up - but Ireland boss Schmidt knows that could establish his final appearance of the competition.
I talked to Steve Jackson; he has obviously suffered from a couple of red cards or citings from his players in this championship, said Schmidt.
it is an extremely challenging situation. Bundee is vertical; you can observe both his palms behind the shoulder blades.
And its all off-the-shelf materials. So we are living in hope, and well see what the judiciary pick.
But when it is a red card you sense a lack of control over what happens next, no matter what you attempt to exhibit. We know its a line.
I feel for Bundee; he is pretty devastated any additional participation in the tournament is now at risk.
Asked for his take on Jacksons assurance to help Aki prevent suspension, Schmidt continued:I believe Steve was a good player himself, hes coached Super Rugby and also for a timehe understands the sport well.
And we would both be pretty disappointed if Bundee does get ruled out of the rest of the championship on the back of the tackle. And I do genuinely say because thats exactly what it was tackle.
However, theres a very difficult line being taken and well just need to accept whatever decision is made by the judiciary.
With CJ Stander, Tadhg Furlong, Jordan Larmour, ruler Rory Best and Andrew Conway also crossing johnny Sextons two tries spearheaded Irelands charge into the eight years.
Ireland had to fight for nearly 50 minutes a guy light though, and Aki would be quite fortunate to not see his tournament.
Schmidts men will face either South Africa or New Zealand in the last eight, next weekend at Tokyo. Ireland must wait with Japan to discover their competitors.
Samoa coach defends Aki
Samoa manager Jackson will make representations in any World Rugby hearing, and made an impassioned defence of Akis future participation at the World Cup.
Look, I dont know whether I need to really comment on it, but there have been mitigating factors again, said Jackson, of Akis red card.
As you know its the throw of a coin right now. I believe Nic Berry refereed the game tonight.
Bundee is a wonderful personality, he does not venture out there to perform that tonight.
Hopefully the powers that be see a sense and he gets to continue in the championship.
He is a terrific kid and he deserves just as much as anybody.
But any contact with the mind, people are being penalised. I expect no sanction comes to him and that I hope he will go in the championship.
We will do everything we can to make sure he gets on the field next week.
UJ came to the ball at speed and he just had two or even three metres to make the decision on which type of handle to create.
That is whats being asked of defenders today. We are all aware thats extremely difficult, so we want him all the best.

Can made 37 appearances for Juventus last season but has found his first-team opportunities after the advent of Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey this summer.
Can was a surprise omission from the club's 22-man squad for the Champions League this year and also the German claims he would have pushed for a transfer had he knew he would be left outside from Maurizio Sarri.
"I'm not in the group for the Champions League which really shocked me because I was promised differently last week," May told Sky in Germany.
"Hence I wouldn't have stayed at Juventus, since it had been the primary condition for me to become part of this Champions League squad.

Liverpool and Manchester United target Kai Havertz could feature for Germany against Argentina

November 20, 2019 in Uncategorized

Live

Germany vs Argentina
International Match
7:45pm Wednesday October

Signal Iduna Park

If they play with Argentina in an international friendly on Wednesday, live on Sky Sports, manchester United and Liverpool goal Kai Havertz could feature for Germany. We profile the gifted 20-year-old and look at other speaking points before the game...
Havertz is currently contracted to Bayer Leverkusen until 2022, although reports by the Daily Mirror state the Bundesliga team are prepared to cash in and also have lent Liverpool and Manchester United that an eye-watering #90m for their midfielder.
Indeed, Leverkusen sporting manager Simon Rolfes told Sport1:It is apparent that we are talking about Europes biggest clubs. It will not be a little deal, When he leaves. We are going to see what happens.
Havertz joined the Leverkusen academy forced his debut in October 2016, becoming the clubs youngest Bundesliga debutant in 17 years and aged 11 and 126 days old.
He established himself as a regular in the group and proceeded to break records. When he graduated at a 3-3 draw against Wolfsburg he eventually became the youngest goalscorer of Leverkusen at the Bundesliga on April 2, 2017.
Havertz became the youngest player to achieve 50 Bundesliga appearances breaking the record held by Timo Werner, A year later. From the 2018/19 season, he scored 17 goals - the most by a teen in a single league year - and lost out to Marco Reus by the smallest of margins in the German Soccer of the Year award.
He has two goals in four Leverkusen looks this year in all competitions and has won five caps for Germany, that may be added to against Argentina live on Sky Sports.
However, what type of participant is Havertz? He has been likened to Michael Ballack, fellow Germans Mesut Ozil and Toni Kroos and can be famous in Germany as aalleskonner - someone who can do everything. He may also compete in the air, is technically astute and is comfortable on both the feet. He has versatility at his disposal, able to shine in these roles that are forward or sit deeper, where he remains composed and assured.
Manchester United are yelling for a player that can do everything in midfield, Liverpool not as much but they would provide Havertz opportunities in the greatest levels. The 20-year-old gift is open to a move also, lately informing Sportsbuzzer:Im happy to keep in Leverkusen for yet another year. What happens next summer is going to likely be experienced in the long run .
As he continues to light football, for the time being, Premier League fans might have to respect him.
Keep a look out for fellow Leonardo Balerdi. The Argentina centre-back will probably be at home at Signal Iduna Park - in which Wednesdays game has been played - having signed by Boca Juniors for Borussia Dortmund at January.
Despite being in line for his second Argentina cap - having won his first from September - he is to make his debut Dortmunds initial group.
His first aggressive step onto the Signal Iduna Park could be with Argentina and was included at the club first-team group three occasions, although the promising defender has made seven appearances for the reserve side of Dortmund.
Many are leaning Balerdi for big things, together with the kid citing Sergio Ramos and Gerard Pique because his idols, and Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has said:Leonardo is an intelligent centre-back and strong in defence. He also has a and passing game. We are extremely glad that he has selected us and are convinced that he will assist us with his ability later on.
Fans in Signal Iduna Park hoping to capture a peek of Lionel Messi is going to probably be disappointed - that he hasnt been chosen in the Argentina squad that is newest.
But fear not, that doesnt mean that the end of his career. Again. Messi hasin factbeen suspended from international soccer for three months by CONMEBOL afterwards he maintained the Copa America had beenadjusted for Brazil and fined $50,000 (#41,121). He will miss Wednesdays friendly and a match against Ecuador on Sunday.
The Barcelona has also missed much of the season so far playing in just three La Liga games and one game, against Sevilla on Sunday. Of course he has one purpose and assist in those three matches.
His sights will be set for his nation. Argentina will co-host the Copa America second season with Colombia to give Messi another chance at winning a trophy before he calls time on his international career once and for all.
There has been a small ding-dong going on between one of Germanys most important clubs, Bayern Munich, and also the team this past season.
It began in March, when Bayern celebrities Jerome Boateng Thomas Muller and Mats Hummels were not picked as Joachim Low continues to rebuild his team in the Nations League along with the World Cup.
At the moment, the director said:Its a fresh beginning for the German national group and we would like to freshen the squad up. I want to thank Boateng Hummels and Muller because of years that are extraordinary and their successes. For me personally, it was essential to spell out plans and my thinking to them . I am convinced that its the correct decision.
Bayern were not pleased. They strike back saying:We consider the timing and conditions of the announcement of this decision to the players and to the people is questionable. The German national teams final game took place on November 19, 2018.
The fact that the gamers and the people were advised three months afterwards, just ahead of important matches for Bayern... irritates us
The debate gets rumbled to October, in which attentions have turned into the goalkeepers. Onlookers are scratching their heads as to Ter Stegen has not been given the regular starting spot.
Barcelona stopper Ter Stegen has publicly voiced his frustrations playing second fiddle on the international stage, telling T-Online:Clearly it drives me a bit mad. You provide the best of yourself and you also are not where you wish to be.
However, Bayern also have made their own threats, stating they wont send players into the national team if Neuer is usurped, with team president Uli Hoeness telling Reduced:You put Mr Ter Stegen at the corner and tell him clearly that it does not work like that.
It puts the Germany manager. For the games, Low has said the pair will take a match each - using Ter Stegen place to play against Argentina - but for now, Neuer seems to be the first choice for fixtures.
View Germany vs Argentina on Wednesday in 7.40pm live on Sky Sports Football; kick-off 7.45pm. Additionally follow our live website on Sky Sports digital programs from 6.45pm.
